Erin graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in NE Portland, specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, and Thai massage therapy.  She promptly gave birth to her own business, named The Task at Hand: Massage & Bodywork, and launched it at her favorite salon.  It turned out to be a perfect fit, a fun and inviting place where she help keep her community well and happy.  She thinks of massage as a therapeutic dance between practitioner and client, where both partners share the lead in unwinding from tension and stress.  She loves incorporating essential oils, hot stones, stretching, and movement into her treatments.  She is glad to help anyone who is looking for feel-good relaxation, recovery from injury or trauma, and release from chronic pain.  Choose between the chair for quick upper body relief, the mat for a yoga-like session, and the table for full-body bliss.

Laura is licensed for both hair and nails.  She began doing nails in 1994. After having her son in 2001 she decided she wanted to do more.  She was co-owner of the salon for several years and in 2005 obtained her hair styling license.  She specializes in "outside the box" hair colors, 1-1/2 hour long spa pedicures (a facial for your feet!) and long-lasting spa manicures.
